Typhoon LagoonAbout

Overview

Typhoon Lagoon houses the world's largest outdoor wave pool. The wave pool is so large that you can take surfing lessons before the park opens. My family and I had a blast playing in this wave pool. If you've ever been to the West Edmonton Mall's wave pool, it looks small compared to this one.

The newest attraction in this park is called Crush 'N' Gusher, and is called by Disney a water coaster. You site in a double or triple tube and slide down one of three slides in the area (The Banana Blaster, the Coconut Crusher, and the Pineapple Plunger). Each slide has contains uphill travel. You'll come accross sections of the slide where you'll drop, and then be blasted upwards by powerful jets of water. Definitely one of the best water slides I've ever been on.

Unfortunately, I didn't take my camera around this park so the only pictures I took can be seen to on the right side of this page. That means you'll just have to visit the park yourself to see it :)
